Transfer News: Shabab Al-Ordon close to signing Majed Abusidu

This is turning out to be one of the longest and most complex transfer sagas of the summer. As of this year, we have reported that Abusidu was close to signing with [deep breath]: Sharjah, Faisaly, Al-Arabi, Al-Nassr, a mysterious Iranian side, and Al-Faisaly (again). It now seems, however, that the Jordanian side Shabab Al-Ordon are set to swoop in and sign Abusidu at the last minute. Al-Ghad and Atlas Sport are reporting that the contract could be signed as early as tomorrow. Abusidu clairified that there was never an offer on the table from Faisaly and that talks were exploratory in nature as were the talks with Kuwaiti side Al-Nassr. He went on to state that Shabab Al-Ordon’s team play and status as one of the big three clubs in Jordan peaked his interest.

Abusidu will sign a one-year contract for an undisclosed amount. Further details of the interview with Abusidu can be heard here.
