Transfer Watch: Amour to Al-Yarmouk, ElKadi to Al-Mabarrah, & more

Jordan bound: Ismail Amour

After much speculation, Ismail Amour, regarded as on of the premier talents in the WBPL has elected to move abroad. Al-Yarmouk (JOR) did not disclose the transfer fee paid to Al-Am’ary to secure the services of the Gazan speedster (but it is assumed that he is on a one-year contract). The loss of Amour represents a blow to Al-Am’ary who were hoping to retain him for the final stage of the AFC President’s Cup where the Ramallah side will face KRL of Pakistan and Taiwan Power Company with a place in the final at stake.

Ismail Amour becomes the fourth Palestinian plying his trade in the Jordan Premier League alongside  Fadi Lafi (Al-Jazira), Ashraf Nu’man (Al-Faisaly), and Ahmed Abu Arab (That Ras).

Palestinian-American Ali ElKadi, who received his first cap against UAE in February, has signed for Lebanese Second Division side Al-Mabarrah. David Nakhid, Al-Mabarrah’s newly appointed Technical Director, sold ElKadi on the move after Hilal Al-Quds and Ahli Al-Khaleel were unable to reach terms with left back.

Also in Lebanon Mustafa Hallaq and Mohammed Abu Ateeq have both signed with Al-Ahed from Al-Akhaa Al-Ahli and Salam Sour respectively. This is the second stint for both players with the club who have previously won the league title with the club.

Mohammed Qasim who has been making a name for himself in Libya well also be moving to the Land of Cedars after impressing while on trial with Al-Nejmeh. The 25 year old midfielder has played for Al-Wahda, Al-Ittihad, and Tersana winning the league with Al-Ittihad in 2010.
