According to Ma’an and Al-Ayyam, and both the Federation FIFA pages Egypt’s full senior squad will travel to Palestine on August 8th. If the match does take place it will be second full international to take place in Al-Ram’s Faisal Al-Hussieni Memorial Stadium after the innaugural 2008 tie against Jordan. Manager Moussa Bezaz is scheduled to arrive in Palestine sometime this week after the Icelandic volcano delayed his original travel plans. He is expected to put together a training camp, inviting the best players from this season’s already concluded West Bank Premier League. No news as of yet if the federation will schedule friendlies this summer to take advantage of the lull in action in Chile, Europe, and the Arab World.
Other murmurs this week are that 2014 World Cup Qualifying will be delayed until March… no word from the AFC as of yet, though.
