An Excuse

While me and my dad watched Bahrain desperately trying to equalize in the dying minutes of the the olympic qualifier, he tried to offer some reasoning in reaction to the pleasantly surprising scoreline: "Well, they have an excuse."

He was of course referring to the recent protests and subsequent crackdowns that gripped the island Kingdom. I quietly agree…
