Club football made its return following a busy international break with the exception of the WBPL which remains on hiatus due in part to the Asian Games.

An 17-man squad of mostly Olympic Team players are currently in China and succeeded in getting a valuable point in the opener against Qatar. There are ten holdovers from the valiant but failed AFC U23 Asian Cup qualifying campaign are defenders Wajdi Nabhan, Ali Rabei, and Ibrahim Abuimier. Midfielders Ahmed Kullab, Samer Zubaida, Sadeq Obaid and Anas Bani Owda and Forwards Mohammed Direya, Mohammed Nazzal, and Khaled Al-Nabris.

Players born after January 1, 1999 were eligible for this tournament and as such Ameed Sawafta, Fadi Qatmish, and Mohammed Ahmed are also included alongside younger players such as Goalkeepers Anwar Al-Aqraa, Matias Medina alongside Farcik Haddad are also participating.
