I’m Bassil Mikdadi. For two decades, I’ve tracked every qualifier, every tournament, every call-up for the Palestine national football team. I’ve attended three- soon to be four- AFC Asian Cups as credentialed media. I’ve been in stadiums for World Cup qualifiers across Asia from Jerusalem to Singapore. I’ve interviewed players, coaches, and administrators—and I’ve held the Palestine Football Association accountable when no one else would.

In October 2025, the Columbia Journalism Review profiled my work in a feature titled “Eyes on the Ball.” You might also have seen my reporting in Al Jazeera, BBC, The New Arab, Arab News and various other outlets.
